Due to the ever-changing situation with COVID, we will be conducting a virtual competition. This was widely successful at our recent 2020 Team Championships. For more information, see below.

Our ultimate goal is to firstly, get the participants on stage and showcase the work they have learnt in the difficult year to their parents/ families, and secondly, provide a competition that is appropriate in the given climate.

Due to the ever-changing situation with COVID, we will be conducting a virtual competition. This was widely successful at our recent 2020 Team Championships.

Unfortunately, this competition will only be open to NSW and ACT competitors. We hope to be able to welcome interstate participants back to NSW in 2021.

The NSCAI Solo/Duo "Virtual" Competition will require all items to be pre-recorded at an official Filming Session hosted by the NSW Competition Committee. The items will be performed under regular "competition conditions" i.e. one take per item. All ACF Competition Rules apply for the virtual competition.

Items will then be sent to the appointed adjudicators to review and provide critiques and results. These will be confidentially sent to the NSWCAI Director of Competitions (Danielle Cohen) for collating and assessing and the results will be double-checked by the NSWCAI Executive Officer (Jodie Morton). Both directors regularly asses at competitions, and neither are coaching any competitive items at this competition. Results will be kept confidential until the NSWCAI Solo/ Duo Streaming Day on Sunday 29th November.

We are pleased to announce our Adjudicator for all Calisthenic Solo Section is Gaye Parker from WA and for all Graceful and Duo Sections is Jan Arnold from WA. We are implementing a Voice Critique for this competition. The audio recording and score sheet will be added to your dropbox folder after the streaming day, along with your competition video.

In NSW there will be a collection point on Sunday 6th December at Menai Dance Centre where participants will be able to come and collect their certificate and/or awards and take their photos with our NSW Calisthenics Banner. For those who do not collect their awards on that day, awards will be mailed out the week after.

We will be providing a streaming service of all items after filming days and results have been collated. This is an exciting opportunity for our participants to watch their entire section and find out their results, whilst watching with family and friends. The streaming service will be divided into age groups and will be streamed on Sunday 29th November. Streaming times are as follows:

Tinies and Sub Juniors (all items) 10 AM

Juniors (all items) 12 PM

Intermediates (all items) 3 PM

Seniors and Masters (all items) 6 PM

The cost of the streaming service for each age group is $20. This event will go on sale the week commencing Monday 23rd November, and everyone will be emailed a link to enter.
